New de Young Museum Film

We’re honored to share that portions of Rubbish are included in The Fearless Art Practice of Leilah Babirye, a new short film about Leilah’s work produced for the exhibition of Leilah Babirye: We Have a History, curated by Natasha Becker, the inaugural curator of African art at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. The film, directed by the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco’s Khamisi Norwood, is part of their original documentary series FAMSF Presents.
